20005707 | Bandgar BP, Patil SA, Gacche RN, Korbad BL, Hote BS, Kinkar SN, Jalde SS: Synthesis and biological evaluation of -containing chalcones as possible anti-inflammatory and antioxidant agents. Bioorg Med Chem Lett. 2010 Jan 15;20(2):730-3. Epub 2009 Dec 11. Overall, the results of the studies reveal that the chalcones with N-methyl piperazine methyl and piperidine methyl substitution (4c, 3b, 4d, 6b) seems to be important for inhibition of beta-glucuronidase. |

14744939 | Miller RR, Doss GA, Stearns RA: Identification of a metabolite of an oral hypoglycemic agent. Drug Metab Dispos. 2004 Feb;32(2):178-85. Glucuronides of piperazine hydroxylamines are rarely reported in the literature, and even more rarely are their structures unambiguously identified. Treatment with beta-glucuronidase gave a monooxygenated derivative of the parent compound. 1H NMR analysis of either the conjugate or the monooxygenated product provided insufficient evidence to unambiguously determine their structures. |
