In preliminary studies, three substrates--p-nitrophenyl phosphate, 4-methylumbelliferyl phosphate, and 2'-[2-benzthiazoyl]-6'-hydroxy-benthiazole phosphate (AttoPhos)--were compared with respect to their kinetic, optimum assay conditions, sensitivity, and detection limits. |
