The animals who had received low-grade gluten protein demonstrated, in the course of injections of organophosphorous pesticides, a considerable activation of glycolytic enzymes (aldolase and lactate dehydrogenase--LDH), changes in the spectra of LDH isozymes and an increase in the activity of a non-precipitated fraction of dehydrogenases belonging to the tricarboxylic acid series. |
