The results of a comparative study, which evaluated the in vitro effect on the antibacterial activity of oxytetracycline (OTC, CAS 79-57-2) in presence of Ca (II)/Mg (II) ions suggest that susceptibility of Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus pumilis and Bacillus subtilis to OTC is reduced in presence of Ca (II)/Mg (II) ions. |
