Identification of RSK2 inhibitors

1.  Representative natural products as RSK2 inhibitors by a ligand-based virtual screening.

2. Compound 7 of benzohydrazide derivatives possessed moderate inhibitory activities towards RSK2.

3. The most potent one, compound 9 of barbituric acid aryl hydrazone series, showed a higher activity against RSK2 with an IC50 value of 1.95 μM.

4. The most potent inhibitor, compound 3s of indolin-2-ones analogues, exhibited potent inhibition against RSK2 with an IC50 value of 0.5 lM and presented a satisfactory selectivity against 23 kinases.
